Aeropuerto Tenerife Norte

Islas Canarias, Spain Se trata de uno de los aeropuertos de mayor tráfico de España. Planteamos una intervención verde y sostenible: El exterior del edificio contiene amplios espacios de masa verde, reflejados en el interior mediante estructuras ramificadas arbóreas que trasladan la naturaleza externa a la sala de la terminal dando al conjunto arquitectónico un carácter organicista. Un puente que alberga la zona de control de seguridad da paso al resto de puertas de embarque. Las llegadas se realizan a través de la sala de recogida de equipaje, desde donde se puede accedes directamente a la vía tangencial o al aparcamiento de vehículos. El nuevo proyecto reutiliza todo lo existente del antiguo aeropuerto.

[:en]Tenerife North Airport is one of the busiest airports by passenger traffic in Spain. We present a green and sustainable intervention: The exterior of the building includes many green areas, reflected on the interior by means of arboreal branch-like structures, which seem to bring the outdoor nature inside the terminal room, giving to the architectural whole an organicist character. A bridge, where security is located, provides access to the boarding gates. Arrivals come through the hall for baggage claim, from where it is possible to get to the tangential pathway, or the parking lot.
